Convert HEIC to PDF

iPhone photos are saved as HEIC and many forms don't accept them. Turn them into a PDF here, several at a time, without them leaving your device.

PDFs are added as they are. These options only change how images are placed.

3 · Result

  1. Add and sort

Choose PDFs or photos, all at once or a few at a time, and put them in any order you like.

  2. Merged without losing quality

PDF pages are copied as they are. Photos are placed on A4 or at their own size, rotated the way you took them.

  3. Download and done

You see how many pages it has and how big it is. If it's too big for the form, you can compress it.

Everything runs in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to any server.

How to convert HEIC photos to PDF

  1. Choose your iPhone photos (HEIC) or drop them into the box. JPG, PNG and WEBP work too.
  2. The first time, a small converter is downloaded; after that they're converted in your browser.
  3. Sort them: the first one in the list will be the first page. Keep A4 if they'll be printed.
  4. If you're asked for a maximum size, choose it. Click Convert to PDF and download.

Why iPhone photos come out as HEIC

HEIC is the format the iPhone uses by default: it stores the same photo at a smaller size than JPG. The catch is that many forms, programs and older systems can't read it, so they reject the file.

If you want the iPhone to take photos as JPG directly, on most iOS versions it's under Settings → Camera → Formats → “Most Compatible”. For the ones you already have as HEIC, convert them here.

Private by design

Most online tools upload your files to their servers. Not here: everything is processed in your own browser and nothing is ever sent anywhere. That's why you can safely use it with your ID, passport, payslips, medical reports or contracts.

How it converts without uploading anything

Your browser downloads a conversion library once (compiled to WebAssembly) and uses it to convert each photo on your own device. Photos aren't sent to any server: the only thing that comes down from the internet is the library, never the other way round.

If you only need the image as a JPG, without a PDF, use HEIC to JPG.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is processed inside your browser. Your files never leave your device.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no usage limits.

Is quality lost when converting HEIC to PDF?

Each photo is converted to a high-quality JPG and embedded in the PDF. If you set a maximum size, it's reduced just enough to fit; with no limit, the highest quality is kept.

Can I convert several HEIC photos at once?

Yes. Add as many as you like: each takes one page, in the order of the list, or two per sheet if you turn that option on.

Does it work on Android and on a computer?

Yes, in any modern browser. HEIC photos can also be opened from a PC or an Android phone with this converter.

What if I only want the photo as a JPG?

Use HEIC to JPG: it converts photos one by one or several at once, without making a PDF.
