3 · Result

  1. Two photos, one sheet

Add the photo of the front and the photo of the back. If they come out the wrong way round, swap them with the arrows.

  2. Neatly placed

Both sides go on a portrait A4 sheet, one above the other, keeping the orientation of the original photo.

  3. Download and done

You see how many pages it has and how big it is. If it's too big for the form, you can compress it.

How to put both sides of an ID card in one PDF

  1. Take one photo of the front and another of the back of your ID card.
  2. Add both. The first goes at the top and the second at the bottom; swap them with the arrows if needed.
  3. Leave Two images on one page switched on.
  4. Click Create the ID card PDF and download it.

It works with any card that has two sides: a national ID card, a residence permit, a driving licence or a health card. In Spain, for example, it's what you need for the DNI or the NIE/TIE card.

Tips for a photo that's easy to read

  • Place the card on a flat, dark surface so the edges stand out.
  • Use natural light and avoid the flash: the plastic causes glare that hides the details.
  • Take the photo straight from above and get close so the card fills most of the picture.
  • Before sending it, open the PDF and check you can read the number, the expiry date and the signature.

Each organisation decides how it wants a copy of your ID. If they ask for each side in a separate file, use JPG to PDF with each photo on its own.

Private by design

Most online tools upload your files to their servers. Not here: everything is processed in your own browser and nothing is ever sent anywhere. That's why you can safely use it with your ID, passport, payslips, medical reports or contracts.

Frequently asked questions

Are my files uploaded to a server?

No. Everything is processed inside your browser. Your files never leave your device.

Is it free?

Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no usage limits.

Is it safe to do this with my ID card?

Your photos never leave your device: the PDF is created in your browser and isn't sent to any server.

Can I combine my ID card with other documents?

Yes. Add your PDFs too: the ID card takes one sheet with both sides and the rest follows, in the order of the list.

Does it work for a Spanish DNI, NIE or TIE?

Yes. It works with any two-sided card: the Spanish DNI, the NIE/TIE card, other national ID cards, residence permits, driving licences or health cards.

The photo came out rotated. What should I do?

The orientation saved by your phone is respected. If it still looks wrong, rotate the photo in your gallery, save it and add it again.
